So cute, but so short
I have trouble deciding whether to recommend this dress. It is adorable, the contrast stripes on the skirt are eye-catching, but... it is so short that at 5'9'' it hardly covers my butt. No way I could sit down when wearing it without flashing everyone! The problem is that it's not elegant/spicy enough to be a cocktail/party dress, which might justify the length, and it's too short to be an everyday dress. The fit is not very close to the body, which would point toward a casual style (I got the XS and I usually wear size 0). Finally I was a bit underwhelmed by the quality: the jersey is so thin that you can clearly see the label though the white stripes.
I honestly don't know where I could personally wear it: I think I'll keep it just because it's so cute, but it will have to be altered somehow (i.e., lengthen). The bottom line: I believe the style would work better for someone a bit shorter than I am.
