Great evening gown
I have a athletic curvy figure and I am short ( 5'2) but unlike most short girls who have a long torso and short legs, I have the opposite. I have a short torso with long legs and am a 38D. Due to my chest size in dresses I always go up a couple of sizes. I wear size 4/6 in skirts/pants and a size 10/12 in jackets to accommodate my chest size and have to get everything tailored in. I figured since this gown was strapless it would not be too hard to fit into a size 10 and get the rest tailored in. When I received the dress I was surprised to see a size zipper. Usually side zippers do not work for me due to the fact I have a wide rib cage and they rarely close no matter how big I go because it is bone. Initially I was disappointed thinking I would have to return it but due to the fact there was not a lot of boning in the bodice of the dress I was able to zip it up. I am very happy with the purchase. It is just as pretty as the picture. I am very excited to wear it to this awards dinner in November. I will have to get it altered since it is about a inch or two too long to the point I might trip on it and have it taken in at the waist. But that is always the case for me. I would recommend it. It is simply lovely and classy
