Trendy as in 'anti-trendy'
The distressed look has been making a popular appearance in fashion for the past few years now. Black Hearts Brigade have made a solid cotton product. I did not get any flat out compliments upon first wearing as I have with other garments I've reviewed for bluefly. That should not sell this garment short though.
When I wear this on a nice spring evening and walk the boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ, that will be the test for this type of garment.
Overall though, the garment is soft, it is a modern fit but feels pleasant on the skin. I am not ashamed to be planning on rocking this shirt more than a few times once this weather breaks north of 60 degrees.
