BEST black riding boots I've found yet!
I wore these for the first time to work today and have gotten so many compliments on them. They do not look like "pleather" at all! Great quality and fit. The sides come up high and do kick-out from my leg a bit, but I personally love that look. I'd highly recommend these to anyone who's tall (5'9") like I am!

Great Deal but fell short...
I really needed another pair of riding boots and these seemed to fit the bill esp. for the price. The boot is very narrow and seemed a little long in the toe area. The back zipper was a nice touch but felt that over time it could become problematic. All in all I ended up returning them. :-(

My favorite boots!
These boots are the best I've ever owned, hands down. They go with everything and are super comfy. I always get lots of compliments on them, too. They are a really great classic style that is versatile because of the simple design. My only complaint about them is that the heel is white plastic covered in the black coating. When you've worn them a while, the black coating comes off and the white plastic is visible. I'm taking them to a shoe repair person ASAP, though, because they are my favorite shoes and I have to make sure they last!

Looks Extremely Cheap!
These are some of the cheapest pleather looking boots I have ever seen!!!! There is so much extra room in the calf it looks ridiculous. I would never believe that these were real leather. Extremely disappointing!

exactly what I was looking foe.
After two trips two the cobbler for new soles, I figured it was time to retire my beloved pair of classic black flat boots. Started by checking out dept. stores but wasn't quite finding the right combo of classic with a slight twist. Got an email from Bluefly for something else and decided to check out the boots instead. So happy I did because these are perfect!

I am about 5'3'' and 113lbs and the fit of this boot is perfect-like a glove. I have read reviews that said the shaft is either "too large" or "too tight" but I didn't find this to be true at all. I am a consistent size 7 and I ordered this in a size 7.
