Good-looking&well-made but...
In order to get a big enough size to fit my feet, I ordered a 10. Apparently someone with feet that large usually has bigger
calves than I. Plus I doubt that the grip is adequate for someone (me)who needs dependable footing. Shipping back from Canada will be very expensive so I will probably look for someone here they will suit better. This is probably the last time I will order footwear by mail order.

Boots are awful!
Leather is cheap , looks like plastic! Zipper was sticking and way too much room around the ankle. Poorly made boots!!

Not what it appears to be
Like several other reviewers mentioned, I kept looking at this boot thinking about ordering it and then read the reviews and didn't, only to lament each time my size was gone that I should have ordered it. So in my search for a plain and simple riding boots, I finally decided to just order them and see for myself. My advice is don't order it if you feel this way!
The leather is very cheap looking, almost like paper in texture. It does not have the shiny look as it appears to have in the product photo. While the fit of the foot area was fine, the higher side of the top of the boot swings way way out creating this very odd pocket on the side of my leg.
Overall, between the cheap look and the fit of the shaft, this is not the well priced quality basic it appears to be.

Too big & not that cute
I have been searching for cute black riding boots and I was excited to try these. Unfortunately, the calf is very wide (i could slip my hand down very far along side my calf) and I have decent sized calves. In addition, the ankle was huge, the leather and zipper bunched at the bottom. Very strange. I will be sending these back.

Great Riding Boot!
I have been searching for quite a while to find that PERFECT riding boot, and I have found it!
This boot is wide enough to tuck your jeans in but slim enough to give you that polished look!
Would definately recommend to a friend!
Now I just need the cognac color!
