Harris Tweed, long recognized as the standard by which all other tweed is measured, is still hand woven on foot looms by the people of the wild and wooly Outer Hebrides in Scotland. We can't think of a better cloth for these classic caps that would look right at home on the moors or anywhere timeless style is still appreciated. Our American artisans cut and sew this precious cloth, each pattern produced in limited yardage with no two the same, so when they're gone, they're gone. This style shares the short brim and eight-panel design of a Gatsby, but the lack of a button top and a slimmer cut makes it sit more like a flat cap. Crafted from small-batch Harris Tweed made the old-fashioned way hand woven in Scotland. Satin lined with a grosgrain sweatband, enhanced by leather on the front. 2 inch snap brim. Goorin Bros. leather-patch logo stitched off-center at rear. Harris Tweed 100% wool. Cut and sewn in America.
