I MIGHT love this dress, except, it's confusing!
See the peek-a-boo belt? It's not very clear how to make it peek-a-boo in the right places, yet fit, yet drape right....There is a confusing hole or slot for I think the belt, but there isn't another one . There is also a confusing piece of material on the inside of the dress that I think exists to buffer the belt against your skin (for the part that's hidden) but again, unclear.
I feel like there should be an illustrated how-to guide for this dress. I plan to take it to an alterations place to see if they can figure it out, otherwise it's a return.
If it didn't have these confusing features (that still may be awesome, just haven't figured out yet), than it would be a love situation but for now it's just a hmmm....
The fabric, stretch silk feels amazing & as such it passes the dance test. But the length is a little challenging & would need to be altered - I'm 5'6" and I need at least 3 inches taken off just so I can walk in platform heels. The cut is flattering, it hugs you in the right places & the one shoulder & drape are cool.
So - the jury is still out.
