Floral Fruity 2007 Nathalie Lorson, Firmenich Bottle inspired from Epines Design 1920.

Amethyst, the false innocence of a fresh and luminous composition wrapped in a musky sensuality. The perfumer created this multifaceted fragrance combining the strength of wild nature with the sophistication of flowers. A fruity and daring top note: charming blackberry blended with the crunchy and acidulous character of the black currants.

The blackberry bush leaves bring a vegetal freshness, rounded by the velvety softness of raspberry. The top note's naturalness lingers thanks to a surprising floral bouquet. The wild rose lights up the lily and ylang-ylang, suave and voluptuous.

The musks' smoothness unveils an elegant femininity. Intense and vibrant, it is enriched with the depth of sensual woods and the refinement of vanilla by a blackberry bush. This fruity, floral, and musky fragrance is a gourmet composition of blackberry, black currants, and raspberry notes over a floral heart of lilies, ylang-ylang, eglantine rose, and purple peony. Perles de Lalique is a perfume shaped by five facets echoing each other. It is a modern chypre with a simple structure staging the most beautiful raw materials. The Bourbon Pepper, native from Réunion, has been selected for its spicy and floral facets. It breathes an insolent and blazing energy into the fragrance.

The valley of roses, in Bulgaria, offers perfumery one of the most beautiful raw materials. The Essence of Bulgarian Rose, intense and yet subtle, brings femininity and generosity to the perfume. Its delicacy can be compared to the velvetiness of its petals and its intensity to the depth of its essence.

The Iris Concrete signs the fragrance with a very sensual powdery facet. The voluptuousness of this noble and precious raw material instills a skin-like sensuality into the perfume.
The chypre facet is built on a very exceptional quality of patchouli. The leaves, harvested on the Sumatra Island (Indonesia), are selected and dried by the rule book in order to obtain all the depth and intensity of patchouli.
The Cashmere Wood accord completes the 4 facets of Perles de Lalique with a touch of elegance and refinement.

Several craftsmen work on both the flacon and its prestigious stopper, decorated with sprigs of lily of the valley.

Ground in the traditional fashion the dropper is custom-made, fitting only its own flacon.

Lalique 2013 Crystal Libellule

For this 2013 Limited Edition Crystal Libellule, the bottle showcases an extraordinary dragonfly cloaked in black.

The generously sculpted clear bottle is decorated with delicately hand—polished concentric circles, repeated waves of water on which the body of the beautiful dragonfly rests, plunging into the delicious fragrant nectar. A double pair of gracefully outstretched wings draws on an alternating interplay of shine and ma6e crystal. This entire satin finishing, paired with the geometry of the wings creates a veil of crystal in the Art Deco style.

The "hot glass" workshop requires four glassmakers using the handcrafted hot mold technique to fashion the bottle. Taken up at 1150°, the crystal is formed in a wooden shaping block and then placed into a cast-iron mould heated to 400° and annealed for seven hours. For the stopper, the so-called "pressed" technique requires five glassmakers. The cutting and polishing steps are then performed cold. The decorative elements on the dragonfly's wings and the waves of the bottle are subsequently sandblasted. To adjust the stopper's fit, it is paired with its bottle and ground with emery to ensure a leak light finish.

Finally, in the ultimate finishing touch, the baudruchage seal and gold thread are added to the signed and numbered bottle.

The complexity of this bottle's craftsmanship arises not only from its form, but also from the work on the black crystal. Technically, the black is obtained with very dark blue pigments that, with the density of the crystal, color the molten material "black". More liquid and more difficult to produce, this black crystal will only reveal its flaws on cooling, when the mirror effect of this very subtle color can be seen. It is therefore ruthlessly selected to ensure a perfect Dragonfly that comes to life in crystal.

Blessed by the gods of Greece, Aphrodite was their goddess of beauty. She is said to have sprung from the amours of Zeus and Dione or of Uranus and Thalassa, the sea. The etymology of her name is "foam-born". Paris chose her and awarded her the apple, and while the beautiful Helen was his prize, she was also the beginning of the Trojan War! Aphrodite, woman of passionand many tumultuous love affairs is called Venus by the Romans.

The goddess of love—both in its carnal, but also in its chaste and spiritual form—Aphrodite is most often represented naked and surrounded by water. The goddess with the long hair (a river of gold), the sublime body and milk white skin is magnified in the Crystal Limited Edition.
