The legendary story behind Missoni's signature zigzag and wave patterns began when Rosita and Ottavio opened a small knitwear shop in the basement of their home in 1953. Today Missoni remains a family-run company with sons Luca and Vittorio handling the business side, Angela designing the collection and granddaughter Margherita as the brand's ambassador.
