Flattering Cut, Beautiful Fit
I have an athletic build (very broad shoulders, short-waisted, long legs) and this dress fit PERFECTLY. The pleated silk top is billowy but not super-voluminous and drapes beautifully. The skirt is the showstopper of this outfit and has a significant amount of heft and weight to it. It falls close to the body but in a way that doesn't emphasize any imperfections, bumps, bulges, nada. I'm 5' 7" and wear a 12, this looks great and hits about 3.5" above the knee--not scandalous but sexy, this would have been dowdy at the knee or lower and this is NOT a dowdy dress, it's a "Look At Me, I'm Fabulous" dress. Perfect first buy, LOVE IT. Wearing for a wedding but would be perfect for a dressy club and New Year's Eve for certain!
