Interesting dress but strange fit
I wanted to like this dress. The mixed texture of the different fabrics is really interesting. It makes the dress stand out. However, it also adds a little volume in the hips, where curvy girls like me don't really need it. I love the racerback styling, perfect for a swimmer with the shoulders to prove it, and it gives the dress some attitude. The quality of the dress was very good. The biggest drawback was the overall fit and feel of the dress. I found that the skirt rode up on one side. I have not had this problem with other dresses, so I'm pretty sure it's not that my body is lopsided! Also, some of the fabric was scratchy- not the fabric used to line the dress so not really a comfort issue, but slightly awkward feeling. I ended up returning the dress as I just did not feel comfortable enough wearing it- really the lopsidedness was strange!
