Cowl necks have gotten kind of popular, which is too bad for me since it's a flattering neckline for me and I like to put together unique looks. But the fit, cut and drape of this top is special, unique for something with a cowl neck. The cowl is narrow and deep - interesting. The stripes work well with the cowl dip and horizontal pleat below it. The long cut also works well with the dramatic cowl plunge and the aforementioned pleat. The long cut is echoed in the long sleeves. A coherently-designed garment with interesting features and nothing gratuitous or precious. The fabric is soft, great hand. I wear it with a camisole. Younger wearers can do without one. Great bargain.
