You can't honestly expect that a boot/shoe with this size heal is going to be completely comfortable but these boots are arguably the most uncomfortable things I have ever worn--there is absolutely no cushioning in the footbed and even with the addition of gel soles they are painful upon wearing for any length of time. While I received a great price on the boots and in the box and on my foot they are really cute, it's still too much for a pair of shoes that I can barely stand to wear even while sitting. Wore them out to dinner and walked through a wet parking lot before I realized how painful they were going to be--otherwise would have returned them without question.
