Disappointing
The coat is made beautifully. I freeze on public transit and have never liked long puffy coats because they look like sleeping bags to me. This was exceptionally well made, super warm, and has more fit so your shape isn't lost--but it's unbelievably small across the chest and shoulders. I'm 5'71/2" size 8-10, 145 lb., 34-B. I ordered a large. There is no room for any bulky winter sweater underneath or much less than a thin blouse or a T. Very little hip room. I fear it would rip when sitting all zipped and buttoned. I had no forward arm movement because it's so tight across the back--bending and reaching pulls. Putting hands in pockets pulled across the chest due to their angle. Button & collar closure = difficult without a mirror. The collar is huge but would do the trick blocking out wind. Didn't care for the deep V in the back--felt like a duck waggle as it flares out so much. I'll return it.
