As I'd hoped for!
I bought this for my boyfriend as a replacement for his beloved hoodie. I searched far and wide for a 100% cashmere sweater (most are blends) and this seemed a close replacement but minus the hood. He is 6'3" and weighs about 180lb, so I ordered size M as most larges are too baggy on his thin frame. I was a bit concerned about the sleeve length because most regular clothing (not tall) sleeves are on the short side, but it turns out the M was perfect. Fits just like the photo of the model. Guess the sleeves run a bit long on shorter guys. Fully zipped, the collar came up to his chin. The cashmere was pretty soft as well- but I'd hope so at that price point. No scratchy cashmere sweater here. The weave is similar to a waffle pattern or like thermal underwear. Since he hasn't had it long enough to wear it any length of time or have it cleaned a few times, I can't comment on the sturdiness. (He was wondering if the pockets might stretch out.) Hopefully it will not pill up like crazy but if it does in a few months I will have to add that in later. His comments were that he liked how soft it was and it did keep him warm over his undershirt & polo (he's constantly cold). The tag says it's hand washable too, so there is an option to dry clean only.
