Not quite what I expected
While the color was not quite what I expected, my primary disappointments with these shorts was in the fit and some of the styling features. These shorts tend to ride low on the hips and the legs are not as long as I expected given the description. Some of the detailing is a bit fussy for my taste with some things, such as the fake pocket just a bit silly given these are cargo shorts. A little pocket on the right cargo pocket would be very useful for small items such as keys or cellphone as proved by another pair of shorts I own which has real pockets on the cargo pouches. Given the detailing on the pocket flaps, the fabric refuses to lie flat and has an annoying tendency to curl up.
In the end, I decided to keep them as returning them would have cost more than half what I paid for them.
