Beatiful but the back strap slips off

Great style, poor design. I discovered the problem only once I wore them outside. I had to take the sandals to a shoe repair stop and add padding to keep my feet from sliding forward and the back strap from falling off. The cobbler said this may not work as a permanent solution.
