Earnest Sewn
dark wash stretch 'Grace' flare leg jeans
user rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
Jeans more of a wide leg than flare
March 11, 2012
Great jeans! Jeans look great, feel great, have just enough stretch and, like all Earnest Sewn jeans I've owned, hold their shape very well. They don't get all stretched out at the waistline, you won't get a saggy bum or baggy knees or anything like that with these jeans. My only complaint is that the jeans are called flare leg but they're really more of a wide leg jean, not a flare. They might flare out a little bit, but they definitely look like a wide leg in person. Just something to keep in mind when ordering.

Runs very small!!!

I love Earnest Sewn's Keaton style jean and have owned about four pairs in the past all in the same size (24), but for some reason this size 24 ran VERY small. I could barely get them on! One thing I love about Earnest Sewn denim is that it doesn't stretch out too much (no baggy bum or baggy knees or stretched out waist band), so I knew this pair wasn't going to stretch out enough to feel even vaguely comfortable. Sadly, I had to return them. Aside from the fact that they run small, they look like great jeans (which is why I gave them four stars). I highly recommend Earnest Sewn Keatons, but if you purchase this pair remember to order a size larger than your usual size.

Fits great for a good price but...

I thought I was buying the traditional Earnest Sewn line which is proudly made in the USA and commands a higher price tag. Sadly this was not the case. These are Earnest AM I Jeans. Earnest Sewn began to market their Earnest AM I line in the fall of 2008. It is made in China and sells at a much lower list price. The jeans look and fit great and seem to be well made. They are just not the Earnest Sewn Jeans that I had thought I was buying.

fade dark wash stretch 'Harlan' cigarette leg jeans

Way too small

I got the jeans in a 24 and I couldn't even button them. My hips are 32 inches in circumference so there is no reason for these jeans not to fit. However, the material is very stretchy and thin.

Not fitting.

I thought the jeans would have more flare at the bottom. I usually wear a size 25 but the size 26 was very tight. They look like bootleg more than flare. I am going to have to return this pair and get the credit. I am very disappointed.
