Established in 1949 by brothers Marty and Elliot Gant and inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of their father, Bernard, the Gant brand name has become synonymous with a traditional American style fused with a European sensibility. Realizing that men were dressing well without dressing down, the Gant brothers revolutionized the menswear market by introducing their signature button-down sportswear shirt, still known today as the start of the preppy, collegiate style. Throughout the years, Gant has seen their home base change from the East Coast to Sweden and back again, but it has always been this smart combination of two worlds that is inherent in every Gant garment, producing a collection that is modern, yet always timeless.
Never purchased a pair of GANT shoes. Must say that I am very happy I did.

If you've been looking for an alternative to moccasins in hot summer weather, look no more - here is a trendy and innovative shoes design by Gant. Two major things I like: a) feel like gloves on your feet - make it feel natural;
b) eliminate the need for an awkward "socks/no socks" dilemma with its soft lining.

Decent boot

I needed a pair of black leather boots that I could wear to class and work. While I'm not too sure how well these will hold up walking around campus I'm sure they will be great in the office.
The toe is a bit squarer than I would of liked but it's not unbearable. Paired with a pair of chinos this is a nice boot at a better price.
