So comfortable, so flattering. I have a bit of a "pooch" after 2 C-Sections in a little over a year. And the brands that are cut with such a low waist make a "muffin top" no matter what size you buy! Plus I'm a little old to be worried about grabbing something off the bottom shelf at the grocery store and showing all "crack"...haha. These jeans are so flattering and so comfortable I wish I had bought ten pairs.

I tried this brand and style of jeans on a whim during the Denim Sale and I'm thrilled that I did! Love the super dark wash and style of these jeans. My only comment is that they do seem to run large in the waist. Fit nicely everywhere else and love the little bit of bagginess around the knee. Will just have to throw on a belt. Will most definitely be buying this brand again, just likely in a smaller size. To note, I am usually a solid size 6 or 28 in jeans, but would have ordered a 27 in this particular pair.

A bit disappointed

I think the color is GREAT! The feel of the fabric is GREAT! Here is comes... BUT..... it runs a bit too small. I was so disappointed. I am 5/6," I'm not super model thin, but slender with a butt - meaning, I don't have a flat butt. At any rate, whenever I buy from Genetic Denim I tend to buy size 30, sometimes I can fit into a size 29. In this case, I bought a 30 and I'm telling ya, it's tight around the hip and butt area. I was so disappointed :'(. I love the color and the softness of the fabric, but it's not THAT stretchy. Here's the thing: I decided to keep the jeans and I'm wearing them now. My plan is to stretch them out. I know it's ridiculous, but I just love the color. If you don't have thickish hips like me then these jeans will be perfect for you :)

I love flared and bellbottom jeans and I was pretty excited to find these in a slim fit. Sadly, the fit is awful. Most jeans are fitted through the hips and thighs and flare out at the knees. These jeans are fitted through the hips, thighs, knees and halfway through the calf. As a result, they looked almost like a jegging through most of the pant only to awkwardly flare out where the calf thins. The material and color were alright, but The Cypress loses out on style. Too bad.
