I have to admit that I was slightly disappointed when I first tried this coat on because I thought it was a bit too large for me (and I was really careful to order my real size; being a true medium size, I ordered a US 6/FR 36). However, I decided to keep it as I tend to wear bulky knits during the winter and as the roominess was going to be useful for that. I wore it yesterday and today and received a few compliments on it, so I guess it's not that bad after all. Also, the skin is so soft and the coat itself is very comfortable and lightweight. Having worn it at -5C and -15C, I can say it isolates well.

I've been looking for a shearling coat for a couple of years and I love this one. It is not too bulky so you retain your shape yet is still very warm. It is leather rather than suede so should withstand the rain better.

The picture looked great, but when the coat came I was very disappointed. The leather was stiff, the armholes were bulky, and the overall fit was much too large. I returned it the same day it came.
