I didn't think quality could get better than hand made in Italy, but these look and feel like they were the shoemaker's masterpiece. Extremely well made.
They feel/smell/look amazing. The leather is so soft from the dying process that I know they will form to fit my feet since they fit just a tad tight (and I ordered my size- US13). There was even a little card about the dying process. They have nice little touches that I didn't see in the pictures, like little logo stitches on the back heel and cutout on the outside heel. I was happy to see that the canvas on the outside is lined with soft calfskin next to your foot. Came with a nice canvas shoe bag.

Great fit, quality, design, wonderful...a bit snug, but that's how this type of jacket needs to fit. I am very happy with it.

John Varvatos sandals may not be the most comfortable, but they're definitely extremely stylish and these are no exception. Look great with a pair of skinny jeans or cargo's. Order a 1/2 size down as they run a bit big.
