First established in 1979 by Marlene and Stephen Baum, Les Halles was relaunched in 2008 with a fresher, updated look thanks in part to their daughter, Remy Baum. Renowned for the `Baggie' jean and the zip leg `Marilyn', Les Halles has always been on point when it comes to the next hottest trend due mainly to their fearless risk-taking. With a fit that flatters and quality denim, Les Halles has filled a void in the market, targeting a wide range of fashionable women.
These jeans are sexy and amazingly constructed.
And they are so low rise - SO low rise - that it's impossible to zip them. Now, granted, I don't have an eight pack or a six pack and I'm not obese or fat. So my pooch of a belly fits a series of size 31s in a range of brands.
Just not these.
Hopefully I'll trim my middle such that I can zip and button these. Because I want to wear them all the time, day to night, and am so bummed that I can't.

itchy label
January 03, 2012
The first thing I noticed about these jeans is the itchy back label. The only remedy was to wear a fitted tank just to tuck in so I wouldn't feel the scraping on my back. The style is great. They look nice to the eye. Regarding the fit: the waist felt like a smaller size than the size of the thigh, or the other way around (the thigh size was larger than the waist), which made me have to wear them higher on my waist than I would like. The lower half of the jeans were comfortable.
