I was looking for a versatile (dress up/down), summer-weight navy blazer that had a slim fit and a bit of a fashion edge to it, without being too out there. As usual, Paul Smith hit the nail on the head. This will go well with khakis, jeans, or even shorts, and any type of shirt from a t-shirt to an oxford. As with other Paul Smith jackets, this is a true slim/tailored fit, which fits me perfectly. If you've got a barrel chest or a beer belly, this likely isn't for you. It's a nice, thin fabric with no lining, so it will be great for the spring or summer.
My only complaint is that it doesn't come in lengths. I ordered the small (I usually wear a 38S), which equated to about a 38R, but that's a small 38 (not quite 36) around the body, with longer sleeves (not quite a 38L). With the true button cuffs on this jacket, it's a lot more difficult to have the sleeves tailored to a shorter length.
