Great packaging; good quality; stylish.

The leather is supple and the boots fit the first time as though you've been wearing them for years. Can't say enough good things about the quality and the comfort.

Great looking...timeless classic!

First off - this shoe ran moderately large on my feet. My foot, really. The right fits wonderfully, the left is perhaps 1/4 to 1/2 size too large. I notice it with very thin dress socks. Less noticeable with a thicker pair. Aside from the fit, I love these shoes. The style is classic & smart. They aren't worn much in my region (Midwest) so they do stand out. They say brown leather, but it is an interesting hue of brown leather. It is definitely on the darker brown side, but even with hints or a sheen of grey in it. Beautiful coloring, top notch quality. The cap toe dresses the shoe up a bit more, too. You'll need to spend some time breaking them in - the sides scraped my ankles the first 4-5 times wearing them. The leather soles are very slick until you scuff them up a little more. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase - pair of high quality shoes that stand out in a crowd, are very versatile (worn with suit & tie or jeans), and fit well (with a thicker sock for me).

This is a well made boot that fits well, if not a bit small. However, it's more formal than the picture suggests. It does not have a distress feel to it and the toe cap is thinner making it more dressy. Also, a gripe is that the laces aren't actually long enough to wrap around the back and then tie in the front once my foot is in the boot. That part of the style is a reason why I was attracted to the boot. All in all, I do like the boot and will keep them and just buy longer laces. If I only wanted one pair of boots that was a mix between casual and dressy, these would not be it.
