From picking leathers to constructing the actual bag, designer Stephanie Lin oversees every detail that goes into her handcrafted handbags from her little design studio in Los Angeles. Named after her mother, the Shih by Stephanie Lin line of handmade bags is known for its buttery soft leather works.
I love almost everything about this bag: rich, supple suede, cool asymmetrical fold-over flap, adjustable strap that can be attached in two places for different looks and long enough that the bag can be worn cross-body and low-slung. The only problem is that the bag is heavy, even before I add my overstuffed wallet and keys and phone, etc. I think the hardware is the reason. I appreciate the sturdy rings that attach the strap to the bag, but there are also a lot of brushed metal balls attached to the suede embellishments. The balls look cool but have no function except decoration, and I think they weigh down the bag a bit too much. I am reluctant to return the bag since it looks so great, but I may have to because of the weight.

The design completely than I expected, very unique. But it is also very commendable practicality, interior space considerably, and the selection and production of the material has demonstrated a high level and sophisticated. Very much. In particular, it's very Chinese style button design taste.
