I picked up this sweater to throw over work clothes when I get cold, but I've been wearing it constantly since it arrived. Great, simple sweater!

A lot of things to like but..

This teal cardigan sweater is juuust not quite long enough if you'd like to cover the upper thigh. Close, but even an inch or two would do the trick for those very skinny leggings. On the other hand, it is nicely made and has better than average detailing. The color I saw on my screen was the color I got. Bluefly service is usually very good. I'm going to gently steam it longer. When it's this close that usually will work on a safe fabric.

Cool sweater but...poor quality
September 28, 2011
Ok, so I am giving 5 stars on the looks, only 1 star on the quality.
It goes great with blue jeans and leggings!!
Sizing: I am 5"4 120lb and usually order size XS. This sweater falls a little loose on your body so XS is perfect on me. The shape of this sweater makes my body look slimmer bc it covers up whole my hips and waist.
Sleeve lenght: is kind of short. I am a shorty 5"4 so most of long sleeve knit/sweater on the market run long on my arms. But this sweater is just right length or even little bit short on my arms.
If you are taller than 5"4 or have long arms, I recommend you to order size S and up.
PROS: This sweater has two highlight;
1.The crochet runs all your arms from the shoulder to the wrist and it is gorgeous.
2. There are pockets around your love handle. I love walking with my hands in them!
CON: This sweater freaked me out at first because of the poor garment. I am a big fan of soft/quality fabric from Splendid, Ella moss, Vince and Velvet.
It definitely feels very cheap. It's got an itchy feel and doesn't feel comfortable on my skin. If this sweater did not have the crochet part, it'd be worth $15. There are sweaters made with wool andd viscose from Smitten and they are even cheaper. I guess the crochet part makes this one more pricy. This sweater looks like $35 sold on TJ Maxx.
Except the poor garment quality, I am keeping it because of the rock chick design.
I only wish that it was made with quality garment, then this sweater could be my favorite sweater.
I understand that this style is not supposed to be form fitting, but wow: when I put this on I looked like I had wrapped a giant old oatmeal-colored blanket around myself. The sweater doesn't resemble the picture in either color or shape. The design, which involves an actually somewhat complicated folding-back pocket panel, is a disaster. Only a significantly obese person would want to wear this, I think. I can see why it was marked down steeply, and I can see why it was a no return sale. Oh well, I'm stuck with it now. I'm going to ask my mother if she wants it as a to wear around the house when she's working at home...
