This hat is very well made which has been my previous experience with Woolrich products.
This was the last one and I took a chance on the size large. My hat size (7 1/4) puts me between a medium and a large so I thought it would probably fit. I can get it on but it is too tight so I need an extra large in this. This is not the 1st time I have needed an XL in a hat.
If Bluefly still had it in stock I would exchange it but I didn't even see it on the Woolrich website so I think it is discontinued, at least for the winter season.

Well, it's a silly looking hat that's too big for my large woman's head. Conveniently I'm not planning to wear it. I bought 2 of these for a homeless shelter after giving up on being able to find any reasonable clothes to purchase with my gift card.

Love the trapper hats from Woolrich, just not this particular style, runs really small and I had to return because of it.
