Disappointing.

Regrettably, on the evidence, the Furla brand is not what it once was. It has markedly deteriorated. I have Furla bags purchased just a few years ago that are still in beautiful condition. They were made in Italy. The leather is lovely and the overall design is elegant. Now, like most companies, Furla is producing bags based on the principles of cheap labor and high prices. This bag should cost far less than it does, even on sale. Very disappointing.

First of all, this bag is not Purple, it's Bordeaux in color, which was perfect for me. I've wanted a wine colored bag for quite sometime, and the Furla Carmen looked perfect in the photo.
I've returned other Carmen's due to stiff leather, hardware hard to open, and the quality of the leather is lacking. This bag is no different ~ The leather is stiff, and the pebble leather makes the bag look cheap. I am not impressed, and will be returning this bag. I want a Furla Carmen with really soft leather, but I cannot seem to find one...
