terrible dress

when I first saw the dress I loved it, but when it came to putting it on it was a nightmare. I have very broad shoulders so I ordered the dress in a size 10. That is the smallest 10 I have ever tried in my life. This dress runs really small. My friend who is a 6 tried it on and it JUST fit her body. I could get it on and zipper it, but it was definitely tight in the chest area. The strap on top of the dress sits awkwardly on your neck so you feel like you are being choked and the sequins are itchy and feel weird. It feels as if you are wearing the dress as it is twisted when it is not. Also, the second time I put it on I noticed a decently sized hole in one of the seams.

I'm 5'5" and 145lbs - I've got hips, so usually finding a dress is challenging. The fabric in this dress has enough stretch (but without looking or feeling cheap) that it hugs the right parts without calling unwanted attention to certain areas. No spanx necessary! The structure of the fabric drapes is just perfect. Also, the fabric was thick enough and the material had enough support that I did not need to wear a bra (B cup) - which I always appreciate. I felt comfortable in it the entire evening and received many compliments.
