This dress is a great true navy color. It is a perfect wear-to-work dress. The fabric is thick and the dress is well constructed. My only complaint is with the slit at the back of the dress. I am quite tall (5'9") and the slit is so deep that there is very little coverage on my butt when sitting down. There was a single stitch holding the slit closed which I now wish I would have kept!
