Pretty but frumpy

I was really disappointed in this dress. The quality and color is good. But what I didn't realize is that it has bat wings. The bat wings combined with the boat neck collar and ruching made me look like I was short waisted. The overall effect was frumpy. I'm not sure who could pull it off--maybe someone extra long waisted or with really big boobs, to offset the amount of fabric.

this purse is wonderful, the color is not white but not really beige so matches well with whites and other colors.
