I bought these shoes as an alternative to high heels for a business trip that required attending a lot of receptions where I would be standing. They are lovely and can be worn for dressy or more casual looks and served the purpose for which I bought them very nicely. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they are a bit stiff in the heel area, not a problem for everyone but it is for me...I expect they will soften up in time. My daughter liked the look of these shoes so much that I ordered a pair for her as well.
