This dress provides a beautiful profile view but for my personal body (measurements are 89cm-64cm-94cm) it does cause my hips to look a little on the wide side. I selected this dress because garments that hug around the middle of my hour glass work best on me. This dress hugs more towards the bottom of the ribs, not the indent between the ribs & hips. So if you are looking at it for that reason I would reconsider. Also, based on the cut of the dress, it is difficult to wear a bra with it & having 32DD, I found that it even made me look flat. To the point of having to wear inserts (which actually sit quite nicely inside the dress) in order for my chest to look like a normal size.
The quality of the dress is excellent. I purchased it for a beauty pageant. I don't know how it would fair as a dress for a formal winter event.

Just got my dress. And I love it. It runs pretty true to size so I am just squeazing into the smaller size (I am smack dab in th middle of two sizes). I have tied the sash in the front, off center to the right, and the dress looks amazing that way. Did not like the bow on my ... eh .. butt. The front v-neck is not quite as low as it looks in the picture, which was a nice surprise.

I absolutely love BCBGMAXAZARIA dresses and was so excited to order this gown. However, the dusty rose color on the website is not the color of the dress. The color of the dress is a bubblegum pink, definitely not the color I was looking for.
