I am not fat, but I have hips and this dress is not for those of us who have hips. It was very va va va voom! I thought this would be cute and kind of hang on me, but it did not do that. It stuck to me hips and I felt like some bombshell. Not the look I was going for, but maybe will work for you. Perhaps black would have been better. I am returning this one for sure.
